"I have been into serious birding since 25 years and have seen several revolutionary upgrades in optical equipments (Binoculars, Spotting-scopes, Cameras etc.) and travel accessories. The birders and bird photographers carry more weight on their shoulders and necks now than in the past, however, some basic needs / requirements were still not addressed (Atleast in India). E.g. the conventional neck strap that usually comes with the binoculars and cameras, strains your neck area due to the weight and it becomes uncomfortable after some time. On a long birding or wildlife trip it can become a painful experience for many.

A great alternative to this is obviously the Shoulder Harness (Strap) that came in the market abroad a few years ago, but unfortunately they are not available in India at all and had to be procured either from outside India or had to be ordered online. However, the problem is that these are NOT available readily on online too and the ones that are available are too expensive.

The obvious advantage of this shoulder harness is that it takes off the load from your neck completely and instead distributes the weight on your shoulder, a definite relief from that uncomfortable and strenuous overload to a much enjoyable experience. More-over it is much safer, since it secures the binoculars or the Camera on 2 ends and also prevents the binoculars from swinging and secures it comfortably to the body. One more advantage is that this comes with a quick-release, buckle-type attachment, in case you need to share your binoculars with anyone quickly.

After struggling to get one such Harness for me online, I realized that it is not easy for many and the main issue was the availability and cost…..To my surprise a good birder friend (Ranjita Divan) decided to design and make a quality Shoulder Harness. After days of experimenting with the design, searching quality materials and much hard efforts, they came up with a fantastic product…The “Trail Binocular Harness”.

This product is not just indigenously made, but to my pleasant surprise, it is more stronger, of great quality, has more flexibility, perfect finishing texture and much more economical than the foreign brands and looks lovely too. It can be used, not just for the binoculars, but also for Non-DSLR camera’s or Camera’s with Wide-angle and Macro lenses, a very sturdy product…..what more, they offer a FREE-HOME delivery anywhere in India quickly. The pack insert also explains how to use it.

WOW……. Finally we have a truly quality product in India that really addresses the issue of neck pain due to Binoculars / Camera’s……and literally gives the meaning of “Bojh Halka Hona” J

GRAB your “Trail Shoulder Harness” now, before the stocks gets exhausted …… It can also be given as a perfect gift to your co-birder / photographer, just to see the smile on their face! J

Trail Binocular Harness - Made In India!!

Hi!

I wanted a good harness with me when I went birding. And one thing led to another... I ended up making a harness for my binoculars!

As I showed it to fellow birders, they encouraged me to start making these harnesses. So, here it is - I am launching the Binocular Harness as brand -
The first lot is ready! Do contact us to give your order

Binocular Harness Vs. Neck Strap

Binoculars tend to feel lighter on using a harness versus the neck strap.

If you are a birding enthusiast who still uses a conventional neck-strap for your binoculars, you might be getting a sore neck!

A binocular harness could help you to remove the strain off your neck by distributing the weight of the binoculars through your shoulders.
